Q-Branch hours were much more erratic than she'd originally anticipated. She'd been out of tech support for about a year now and while she wouldn't go back, she did miss the stable hours. It'd been ages since she'd had a decent amount of free time and even longer since she'd had the energy to do anything with it.
This particular night she was just settling in with her cat and e-reader after a very long day at the office. She was attempting to change her sleep schedule by staying up a bit later but realized she'd dozed off when a knock at the door woke her.
Cautiously she stood up, who on earth would be knocking on her door at this hour? She glanced out the peep hole and was startled to find her sister outside. Frowning, she opened the door.
"Sherlock? What are you doing here? It's late."
