Second Sprint Review
Partway through sprint 2, I switched to the design route, as I felt that it suited me better and felt like I contributed more towards the team. For this game I will mostly continue being a writer, but I will lean more to writing and researching for design aspects rather than the story.
At this point our game is now a linear first person shooter, as random generation is too difficult for Sam to program. So for now, we have 1 level, the factory level, a tutorial level, and the second level that me and Ben are now working on. There are basic assets in the game, some gun models and enemy models, but the game still looks fairly bare bones.
In this sprint I worked on created the upgrade list with Luke , and what upgrades were to be includes in the game. I also researched and finished the list of the 5 weapons that we were going to have in the game, and co-created the tutorial level and second level with Ben (Edit: later changed to first level). In this sprint I spent a lot of time narrowing the game down, we realised making a rogue-like was no longer possible, so it was my job to edit and finite the game, and choose the final pieces that were going to be put into it.
