Family is one of the most important things to Blake regardless of it is her biological family or her chosen family. There are no limits to what Blake would do to protect her family especially her siblings considering she has been the only constant thing in their lives. Blake has consistently been proven wrong by her parents and they have failed to rise to the occasion time and time again and Blake made a promise to herself that her siblings would never experience the same things she has. She wanted her siblings to experience some level of normalcy even while she listened to her father’s brutal stories about work and finding him in a pool of his own vomit more often than not. Blake wanted to teach her siblings how to ride a bike, help them with their homework, tuck them in for bed, and make them breakfast in the morning.
