Tatting did work out after all! Making a lil bookmark from Four Dozen Tatted Bookmarks by Robin Perfetti
Broke out the old lace pillow and am relearning how to make lace. Bobbins go click-clack, it's very nice to create again.
It is finished! It turned out.... Not very well if you know what you're looking for. Just stand back and squint so it looks perfect. Still, I know where I went wrong and I have the next one planned. I intend it to be the same pattern with some slight variation, but with some beautiful blue silk thread (this one is cotton)
Pattern is by Claire Bonito of Bonitocrafts. All imperfections are user error and have nothing to do with how excellent the pattern is, this was one of my most used patterns and it is solid.
Make art y'all, even if it's bad.

Pivoting to cross stitch for a moment, I wanted some pseudo mindless busywork. Pattern by TrunkyStitches on Etsy, they do lots of really cute black work patterns.
Tatting didn't work out, so I made a salmon instead! Pattern is based off of the adobe stock image more or less. I might make it into a keychain or something now.
If you can't tell, I'm not much of a photographer so let's just sprinkle some floss in the background and called it good.
