"Dear Devian and Meed if he's there. I only got to know now that you are somewhere called... Castle town? I sadly can't visit both of you. I... I'm still so sorry about the party... About what happened... I really messed up. I really did. Because of me you are now in Castle town. And between you and me, I know you don't actually want to be there, Alset brought you there because he said "it's safer." didn't he? Anyways... I tried to talk with Tenna... It... It didn't work... He locked the door and he's completely... What he calls glooby... I... I'm with KID. He's helping me... But just a little... I shouldn't be around knifes. I really shouldn't... I hate myself for what I did. I shouldn't have grabbed Tenna like that! He was just defending himself... Anyways... I hope you are doing good. You and Meed. I hope you get along with the other darkners. I hope I get to see you two again... That's it from me for now... -...That stupid guy Easy29."
[* The night after some gaming wasn't that great for either of the two robots. Specifically because of Devian's nightmares, which made him wake up in the middle of the night. He didn't want to wake up Meed but did so by accident, as his wake was louder than he wished. Devian didn't share what scared him in his dream. He mumbled "no" many times and "please, don't do it!" in the end. Devian was twitching while he apologized for waking Meed up, who said, "It's fine." Meed wasn't sure how to comfort, so they put their hand on Devian's shoulder and lightly squeezed it. At least Devian stopped twitching, although he was still shaken. ]
Do you think Mr. Tenna is doing better now?
[* Meed reluctantly answered that maybe, since he has people who support him even after what happened. ]
Sorry, you perhaps hate him after he attacked Easy29.
I don't. But I wouldn't meet him again, if it were possible. Easy29 overreacted over cookies, but what Tenna did after...
Yes, I am. You know him better than me, and maybe this wasn't that bad of a reaction in your eyes, including the fact that he was also hurt? I don't know how his pain system works, including his arms. But he is far stronger than both of us. What if we mess up and he does the same with us?
He wouldn't. It takes a lot to mess up like Easy29 had. He provoked Mr. Tenna, even if his reaction in return wasn't appropriate.
[* Meed doesn't comment on that. They see the situation differently. Maybe they are biased since Easy29 is a closer friend to them than their ex-boss. ]
What's done is done. Easy29 felt guilty after and asked if Tenna was okay. He didn't even acknowledge his own wound.
[* Devian had been in shared quarters with Meed after... he had had a talk with Alset. Devian lowers his head as if trying to hide in his shoulders. ]
Right now you remind me of Tenna.
Don't apologize. Tell me, do you need a hug like he needs to be "not glooby"?
[* Devian snickers at the "not glooby" part. He presses his shoulder to Meeds's body.

[* After they sat this way a bit longer, Devian agreed to go back to sleep. ]
[* Next morning Devian and Meed decide to take a walk and ask for available jobs in Castle Town. Well, technically, Meed and Devian accompanying them. Even though Devian said he will also look for open applications, deep inside Meed and Devian knew that unless it was some remote work for TV-Time, Devian wouldn't pick it. Before they walk out of their quarters, they hear somebody knock on their door. Devian opens it. ]
Good morning, prince. May I help you?
[* Ralsei gives him a letter. Devian scans it, and after seeing who this letter is from, thanks Ralsei. They accidentally bow at the same time. Devian slightly smiles with his eye. ]
Thank you again for helping us so much, Ralsei.
[* Devian reads the letter more thoroughly again. They share a sympathetic glance (well, Meed seems to share it with the lack of eyes). They take their time to write a letter back. After they finish it, they leave their quarters to search for a job. When they meet Ralsei again, they suggest helping with building new rooms in Castle Town and renovating the place, since it is clearly still an ongoing process. During one of the breaks in the Castle Town livable area expansion process, Devian asks Ralsei to send a letter back, apologizing for inconveniencing the already busy prince. The letter goes as follows: ]
"Hello Easy29, Devian and Meed are writing. We found different pens, so I'll use this one, and Meed will use the other one.
We understand, visiting Castle Town is hard. I hope we will find another place to meet you. You don't have to apologize, sometimes things just happen. I We hope you are feeling better now.
It's not your fault, it's Alset's decision. Yes, you are correct, he thinks it's safer here. Sometimes adults act immature, and, well, for now we can't do anything about it specifically in this case. We will be able to travel to different Dark Worlds when we find out how."
[* Next paragraph of the letter might have been redacted or rewritten from a draft. There are no scratches; however, Devian might have left out some of his thoughts. ]
"I believe that Mr. Tenna will find strength to continue on. Since you resolved your conflict with him and there are people who stayed, he will be OK. You both made mistakes, but don't blame yourself harshly, Easy29. I think we'll find ourselves company, Darkners here seem nice.
Don't call yourself stupid; it's okay to make mistakes. In any case, here are our numbers. The physical letter aesthetic is nostalgic, but I'd rather not make Ralsei do more work for us.
