That was probably too nice of a word for the girl standing in front of her, if she even was a girl, gender-wise. Black hair, dark eyes without actual pupils, antennae-- of course Emily would find someone like this in New York City. Ever since the Avengers had come into existence, the world had turned upside down both literally and figuratively, and big cities were the best place to find strange people. Hence Emily living here. She fit right in.

The girl, if she was a girl, in front of her looked rather confused, so Emily figured she should try saying something new and perhaps more friendly.
