-He takes you out for a night walk whenever he’s free. 

-V never brings his little shadowy companions along, especially that annoying chicken. 

-You and V would watch the beautiful midnight sky whenever the gleaming stars appear. 

-Sometimes you have a night picnic with V.

-V embraces you and pecks your lips with a kiss underneath the moonlit sky. 

-You always hold his hand whenever you go out for a lovely night walk with him. 

-You lie down on the grass with your loverboy while watching the stars shining up in the dark blue sky, holding hands.

Day 18 - Holiday Baking

"V can you pass me the sugar?", you ask.

V hums in the affirmative, passing over the container. The two of you were baking sugar cookies to bring to the DMC office. You had Christmas music playing in the background while you baked. V was helping but mostly kept out of your way and just watched. You were the chief of the kitchen, Nero liked to call you.

You do a little twirl as you turn around to grab a few cookie cutters from a drawer. You pulled out a stocking, snowflake and gingerbread man cookie cutter.

"These three should be good", you say. You hand one to V with a smile.

"Wanna help?", you ask.

"I may mess up", V counters.

"You'll be fine. Even if you do, we can just eat them ourselves", you reply.

V smiled. He's always loved your positive attitude. The two of you could be dying and you could say something positive to get him through it.

V took the cookie cutter from you, moving to stand next to you. You rolled out the dough, thin enough to cut but still thick enough to hold its shape, out on the counter in one big sheet. You stuck your cookie cutter into the corner, getting a nicely cut out snowflake. You smiled, transferring the cookie to the cookie sheet. V cut out his own cookies, only two of them coming out a little damaged.

You chuckle, looking over V's shoulder at his damaged cookies.

"He looks like he's holding something", you say, pointing to the piece of dough coming from the gingerbread man's hand.

"What does it look like to you?", V asks.

"A candle, but we can decide on that when we decorate these", you reply.

The two of you continue cutting out cookies until the two cookie trays are filled. Once filled, you put the cookie trays into the oven. You let them bake for the 10-15 minutes they needed. As you waited, you and V sang and dance to the Christmas music you had playing.

A ding from the oven, stopped your dancing, you quickly jogging over to take the cookies out. You hummed, smiling at how good the cookies smell and came out. V walks over, smiling at the turn out of his messed-up cookie.

"We've got to let them cool before we decorate them", you say.

"Enough time for a nap?", V asks.

You chuckle, nodding. You needed a nap yourself anyways. You've been up cooking and baking and a nap would be nice.

"Enough time for a nap", you reply.

V smiles, taking your hand and pulling you towards the couch where soft blankets were already waiting for you.

V Falling In Love With Nico's Brother (Male!Reader)

You and Nico: *Wind-whipping sounds continue*

Griffon: “Holy shit, there’s two of them.”

Unlike your eccentric sister, you’re not an inventor. You’re a devil hunter, preferring to be out in the field instead of locked in the van.

Furthermore, you're much more gentle than Nico. When V first meets you he can barely see the family resemblance: Nico is a wild child, loud and eccentric, having a penchant for inventing Devil Breakers. You’re her exact opposite. You’re a crossbreed between introverted and extroverted, you’re certainly calmer, the eccentric side of your personality coming out during a hunt. And, according to you, “My sister has grams’ brains. I just kill shit.”

What makes V attracted to you is how non-judgmental you are. V notices how loyal you are through words alone, seeing how gentle you are in comparison to your roughhousing sister. What really sells his attraction to you is how great of a listener you are. You’re the only person in Devil May Cry who loves hearing him read poetry.

Griffon is sure to rub in V’s little problem. He’ll call him “lover boy” or “Romeo”, sometimes even reciting that annoying “Sitting in a Tree” song.

It doesn’t help when you start openly flirting with him. The teasing from Griffon increases, however it makes V feel oddly happy. Is this your way of showing genuine interest in him, or is this your way of teasing? He sincerely hopes it isn’t the former.

Shadow appears to have taken a liking to you as well. He’ll rub against your legs and purr, and will sometimes sit or lay next to you. V can hear Griffon snicker every time and chooses to ignore him.

Dating each other is certainly interesting. After a full day of devil hunting it's nice enjoying the silence, basking in each other’s presence. You both find comfort out of V reading, you loving how his voice can put you to sleep and V finds it enjoyable seeing you fall asleep. It's enough to make him fall asleep too.

Pet Names include: My love/love, my dear, dearest, darling.

Kisses when no one’s looking? Kisses when no one’s looking.

Nico actually catches on pretty fast. She knows you better than anyone. One day she flops down on the couch next to you, lights her cigarette and says while in full earshot of V, “So! You ‘n V fucking or what?”

You laugh and V turns scarlet. “That’s a little crude.” You say. “We are together, yes.”

Nico jumps up and screams, “Finally!” Followed by, “Jesus, I was hoping y’all would get together instead of making goo-goo eyes at each other all day!”

And then Nico proceeds to give V the shovel talk. That was to be expected.

V’s life became a little less bleak.

Like imagine Nero's looking for some fatherly advice and empathy and Vergil just straight up stabs himself so V can deal with the problem and not him
