i've just read your tags on the "Note to all girls" post & they are spot on. some people can't accept the fact that not everyone wants to be in a relationship. anyway i just needed to say that <3

seee exactly and I think it probably just worsens people’s anxiety by telling them that hey! it’ll happen! when they might feel broken or wrong for not just not having sex or a relationship but not /wanting/ either. it just makes it more challenging to distinguish what you actually want. like hey, you haven’t had sex? maybe you don’t want it. that’s okay. don’t want a relationship? it’s okay to be single. I know that that’s something that annoys me when my family is like oh hey, you’ll meet someone! sometimes I wonder if they’re trying to comfort me or themselves. it’s better to tell someone that you love them regardless, I think. And that there’s nothing wrong with them if they haven’t met anyone yet OR if they aren’t looking
