Michigan, 1996. Twelve years ago, the body of Phillip Silverman was found mutilated in the woodland beyond the small town of Devil’s Knot. Now, almost to the day, an eight year old child has been taken. As the Satanic Panic resurfaces, an old fear has gripped the imagination of this place: that Devil’s Knot is cursed and the Devil has come home.
Devil’s Knot is a narrative-driven finite group set in a small Michigan town in 1996. We are a continuation from the previous version of this group, then named Lost Paradise, which ran in 2018. We are concerned with the Satanic Panic phenomenon as it originated in America in the 1980s.
