Dorothy is not the only one who thinks clicking her ruby slippers three times will get her somewhere. Meant to capture the brightest feeling of hope in a shade of red, Devine Gloriosa was created in conjunction with beautiful water-like grays as part of the Vida De Lago Collection.
This kind of red is seen worn with hope by Chinese brides, on the confident soles of Louboutin shoes, and across fashionable Chanel lips. I wanted Devine Gloriosa to have the same hopeful, fearless, and fashionable intention. You can pair it up with pink to say romance or have it look modern next to classic grays. Think of all the ways you can click your heels and hope for the best.
Lake Como was my inspiration for the Vida De Lago collection. It is a place where water, sun, and luscious gardens meet a Middle Age romantic history that continues to inspire passion today. No wonder Franz Liszt wrote his famous Dante Symphony there. He said "“When you write the story of two happy lovers, let the story be set on the banks of Lake Como."
