Orion Fortune!
You and Sly both sent this dang son
Full Name: Orion Fortune. No middle name, but his assistant, Taylor, insists that it’s Greg.
Gender and Sexuality: Orion’s a transgender male. Panromantic asexual.
Pronouns: He/him.
Ethnicity/Species: White bread.
Birthplace and Birthdate: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. March 6th.
Guilty Pleasures: Sleeping in for as long as he possibly can without consequences, shopping at Hot Topic, and watching Global Studios’ productions (his favorite being either Moozilla or The Pink Princess.)
Phobias: He has an incredibly big fear of opening up to others so they can betray him. He also seems to really, REALLY not like tomatoes.
What They Would Be Famous For: He wants to eventually be famous for his skills as a defense attorney. His mentor, Silas, claims he’ll be famous for being a sideshow attraction for his fortune telling abilities.
What They Would Get Arrested For: Theft, seeing as he often makes the decision to take things from the crime scenes to use in court instead of his assistant like with other defense attorneys.
OC You Ship Them With: None, at the moment. Amidst his own group, most relationships are strictly platonic. With other people’s OCs, it’d depend on threads probably.
OC Most Likely To Murder Them: His assistant, Taylor Trace.
Favorite Movie/Book Genre: Orion is entirely in love with fantasy and spends a lot of his time outside of court reading a lot of fantasy.
Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: Killing off characters for cheap drama. He’s already up to his neck in that, you know.
Talents and/or Powers: He has a knack for fortune telling and often carries around tarot cards with him. He has a knack for thinking outside the box by throwing around INCREDIBLY weird ideas in court.
Why Someone Might Love Them: He’s relatively dependable and until a verdict is handed down, he will do anything for his clients. He’s incredibly laid back and despite his gothic attire and low emotional range is actually really fun-loving at the end of the day.
Why Someone Might Hate Them: He’s incredibly spacey and often is lost in thought (or lack thereof). He’s perpetually late for everything and is just incredibly slow-paced in general. He often silences witnesses and prosecutors by banging on his desk BEFORE yelling objection.
How They Change: His character arc will have to do with fortune and fate itself. It’ll put him through the fucking wringer and probably crush his spirit but I think it’ll make him stronger in the end of it all.
Why You Love Them: The more I’ve been toying with his character, the more I’m really beginning to like where he’s going. I was really afraid that he’d be too similar to Phoenix/Apollo/Mia/Athena, but his drive for being an attorney is different from theirs, he’s not the only sane man like them (well athena’s debatable in that role but) and sometimes can be much more of an oddball than his clients and witnesses, and I really think he’ll both be fun to write for in the fancases and in rp threads with other characters.
