I just realized, Draxum discovered a prophecy of the downfall of the yokai at the hand of humans. And with all that’s happening in down with the stockholm, pretty sure that prophecy came true.

i didn’t even realize that—

there’s a lot of things i feel like if i studied rottmnt more in depth i could’ve added into stockholm and this is definitely one of those moments where if i’d thought it through more this could’ve played a more prominent role in the story

but nah i totally forgot about that prophecy while writing it PFTTT
