Izumi’s frown settled even deeper as he noticed the other flailing all around. If he understood Mika in any way from hearing both Shu and Arashi talk about him, he was probably -most likely- not doing this out of ill will... If mika was scared of him they were both pretty much fucked, because Izumi had no idea of how to act any kinder.

“Aren’t you being rude to an upperclassman? Sooo annoying. If you’re given something you should just say ‘thank you’ and accept it” he replied, still not giving up on having Mika eat properly for once. How could he not when he kept hearing from everyone -even Leo now- that this kid was just passing out on corridors and skipping meals??

“It’s a highly healthy and well balanced meal. It’s easy to eat and digest so it won’t make your stomach upset and you can eat it cold so you can eat bits through the day, so you shouldn’t have problem with it. It’s much better than throwing sweets to your mouth every time you feel hungry” he insisted pushing the box back towards the black haired “ I’m sure not even Itsuki can find any fault on it so just eat it already”

It had been a passing thing, something Shu had noticed briefly throughout the day but hadn’t acted upon it because there were other matters that had needed attending to. Now though, with classes over and just the two of them in the handicrafts’ clubroom, Shu had trapped Kagehira up against a wall. His arms boxed the younger in preventing any kind of escape...

Though Shu didn’t think Kagehira would have run away from him.

It wasn’t like he was trying to hurt the younger boy anyway.

“Quiet Kagehira,” Shu responded, his tone curt, before moving his right hand away from the wall to cup Kagehira’s cheek, running his thumb over the skin below the other’s left eye. He leaned closer, eyes narrowing just the slightest bit.

He thought so.

“Have you been going to sleep at a proper time like I’ve told you to Kagehira?” the pink haired third year asked, oblivious to, or simply not caring about, how much he was invading Kagehira’s personal space.

Midori wasn’t quite sure if coming to the handicrafts club room was the best idea. He very easily could’ve asked Anzu if she could make the minor repairs to the old stuffed animal. Yet, he didn’t want to bug her since it wasn’t one she had made, and she already had so much on her plate.

He had his stuffed kappa that his grandma made for him when he was young. It wasn’t exactly the cutest thing, but it made him think of her. She hadn’t been able to do an amazing job, but it had held together for quite some time before his mom helped him to roughly patch it up the first time, redoing some of the stitches. Over the years, it gathered more of his roughly done stitches that never seemed to really improve. Yet, it was still his favorite plush that he is always careful with.

Now that he has somewhere he might be able to get some help with it, the rough stitches from when he was especially young threatening to release stuffing, he has finally gotten around to actually coming to the club room. “Um.” His voice isn’t sure, much like himself as he protectively holds the kappa. “Hello?” Hopefully, someone would be willing to help me patch up the old stuffed animal.

“N-No. Obviously I haven’t made a gingerbread house before, at least not by myself. Don’t got the patience for it.” A deep growl of frustration rose from the grey haired boy’s throat as his “house” suffered another building catastrophe. He was terrible at this, that was plain to see. But the source of Koga’s frustration was one of embarrassment rather than pure anger. Koga didn’t like the fact that he looked so stupid and so incapable by screwing up an activity even five year olds could do better than him.

Still, he knew that this was supposed to be a fun bonding experience, and despite being rather fed up with the practice as a whole, he did enjoy the other’s optimism that they’d get it done in the end. Taking two pieces of gingerbread and pressing them gently together, Koga looked up at his companion, searching for reassurance that he was starting to do this correctly. “Not my area of expertise.... If it were up to me, I’d be the demolisher. Ya get what I’m sayin’?”
