He could taste the metallic blood from the cut on his lips seeping into his mouth as he pressed his lips closed.
TaeHyung was getting tired of being chased around, despite it being his own fault for getting involved into things he didn’t need to. He didn’t think the wretched lady was going to release her fucking dogs on him though. If he had known she had them in the first place he wouldn’t have said anything at all. It was already questionable enough how she got them.
The massive things had jumped him the moment he turned around, getting a good claw down his back. With his blood on one of their prints, he had no chance of losing them. If only the damn things would stop for a second and sniff something else out to chow on.
But being TaeHyung, he always had a plan out of something somehow. Prior information let him know that the woman hated anything to do with water, yet she always stationed herself close enough to see if her love lost at sea would someday return. That meant that water was near, and he could sense it by the sound of waves crashing.
It didn’t take him long to find a pier to the oceanside, and it didn’t take long for the hellhounds to catch up either. It didn’t really matter at this point anymore if TaeHyung would survive jumping into the ocean or not. He’d much rather drown than be torn to shreds by the bloody dogs.
TaeHyung didn’t take any moment to hesitate jumping over the railing. If he had to be honest, it was actually kind of thrilling as he watched the dogs disappear from his sight. And as dumb as it sounded, he was just hoping he would wash up somewhere without being attacked by a shark. More importantly, hoping that maybe, just maybe, he wouldn’t die.
