Day 35. Nick's last day in Paradise.

Friday, September 6th

It's raining today & and the clouds do a good job of mimicking our mood as we pack Nicks bags and settle into the idea of being apart for a very very long while.

We spend the day running errands and catching up with some work before my professors arrive. 

We spend the night at De Ysbreeker a popular restaurant on the Amstel. De Ysbreeker is a place we pass nearly every day. The posh guests and enormous crowd have, however, always scared us away from eating there. Luckily, we picked a seat just as the clouds were clearing away. Among the early evening's empty tables we enjoyed our last dinner together. As we watched the sun setting over the Amstel, bikers whizz by narrowly avoiding waiters crossing the street with platters full of frothy drinks. The tables fill as we finish our meal, and we hop back on our Fiets (bikes) and head to meet Kristy & Sara for a last drink at Baut.
