2 years after the events of DH1 ans Denise+Halette's wedding, the gang decided to take a little break before summer arrives and school ends. They're back to Sulani, where Destiny has already spent months there for an intership focused on global warming and climatical changes.
Ep1 WELCOME BACK ! D-1:
Destiny's intership is ending. The students are leaving Sulani but she decided to stay in order to welcome her friends and also because she feels like she’s finally belonging somewhere ...
The gang : Leïla, Hiro, Soraya and Chester arrives and they’re bringing something new ... Tensions ! Hiro still seems depressed by Renji’s disapearance and Leïla seems to not handling it any longer. Chester and Soso, on their side, are both hidding something from each other ... When the gang arrives, they all meet Aïssa, a young student that did her intership with Destiny (who totally has a crush on her ...)
Meanwhile, Edgar Brindleton prepares a huge summer festival that will surely ruin Destiny’s work for climate change. He’s also looking for something hidden on the island ...
Destiny and the sulanian sisters welcome the gang and celebrate the end of school year but summer seems already ruined when some body parts are left in the sand ... During the party, we notice that Soso is receiving calls from a stranger ...
Ep2 INTOXICATED/ D-2 (the posting stops here so sorry T0T) :
Next morning, Aïssa is doing her morning training but gets interrupted when she sees the body parts in the water. She’ll go warn the Mahoe sisters who will have a secret meeting with their fellow sulanian tribe. Destiny will interrupt them and she’ll notice that the women are preparing something ...
After that, Des and Aïssa decide to show to the gang what they actually did during their internship. Chester and Soraya will both stay at the hotel to rest (they’ll just have sex but won’t never admit it in public).
The gang, now composed of Destiny, Aïssa, Leïla and Hiro, is discovering the new community lot that the students and the sulanian built. They discover a place full of usefull and ecofriendly ideas but Destiny and Aïssa reveal what really is going on these days with Brindleton.
The situation is tensed ! Edgar Brindleton, formal mayor of Brindleton Bay and heir of the Brindleton dynasty (also Julia’s father), is buying slowly but surely the island, threatening the locals to leave their house and poisonning the water to do so. In order to avoïd that, the students created this place for the sulanians to fight back. They’re also trying to find some solutions to cancel the summer festival. Aïssa quickly thinks of something but she keeps it to herself ...
Meanwhile, Leïra, who’s been furious about the Brindleton invasion, is trying to convince the tribe to help her fight him, without letting the Mahoe sisters know. The women argue as most of them want to stick to Nala’s decision (she’s the oldest of the tribe) to wait for the Mahoe’s opinion and support on this. Leïra will leave their secret cave alone, letting us see that some of the women are sirens !
Back at the beach, the gang see that Brindleton is giving a speech but the locals throw garbage at him, which force him to runaway with his bodyguards. Destiny runs to the hotel to tell everything to the sisters and they decide to act later. Aïssa, on her side, reveals her plan to destroy Brindleton : making a huge simstragram campaign against his festival, sharing images of the destruction of the island with interviews from the locals .
The entire gang decide to join the social fight for Sulani. Leira prepares a secret plan to kill Brindleton ... That same Brindleton that is experimenting on kidnapped women from the tribe ...
EP3 SULANI/ D-3 :
Leïra is going to attack Brindleton in his residence but she gets into a trap ...
Vanyah learns about Leïra disapearance from the tribe. She decides to take the girl from the gang there to make some revelations and have a serious talk. Meanwhile, Hiro and Chester decides to explore the island to find more about Brindleton and also talk about their relationships .
Destiny, Leïla, Aïssa and Soraya discover the tribe and also the cave, an underground place below the Sulanian waterfalls, surrounded by nature and kingdom of the island. They meet the tribe and Vanyah starts to tell them the secret and history of the island.
Sulani is the daughter of the sea and the sky. A true place of purity on Earth, some even call the island : the Heart. The legend says that Sulani is also the place where women are originally born. They live on Sulani for centuries without any men around, the new born being made by the Moon . But colonization didn’t miss the island and men started to come to fight. Most of them got killed, the others escaped but with time, men became stronger because of guns and the tribe had no way to fight back. One day, a huge fleet invaded the island, and men started to win by the numbers. Some women got killed protecting their sisters, others were kidnapped and enslaved, but the tribe, with the help of Sulani, the Sun and Imahoe, managed to survive but with a price to pay ... When the battle was lost, Imahoe and the other women escaped. During their escaping, Imahoe praid Mother Sulani to protect her daughters in order to preserve the island. Mother Sulani heard her call and gave the tribe the ability to live underwater, turning them into sirens. But the deal was also hurtfull as Vanyah and some others had to stay on the island to became protectors of the island. The tribe then decided to hide from men for awhile and let modernity and time do their job on the island. With time, they managed to create their own secret place, ressources and preserved the power of the island : the eternal life that Sulani gave them.
Hiro and Chester, on their side, are talking about what’s been going with the both of them lately. Hiro confesses that he can’t manage Renji’s disapearance and being alone in Foxburry doesn’t help him. Chester, on his side, knows that Soraya has been hidding something but he’s affraid to confront her especially because he has something else to ask her ... They both decide to get drunk and find a nice place near Brindleton’s place.
Imahoe asks Leïla if they can talk alone and they both separate from the rest of the tribe and gang . Imahoe confronts Lee about her powers and shows her that she can actually control water. Leïla talks to her about the Elementals, which intrigues Imahoe and both decide to keep their talk as a secret, Imahoe being the source of the power of Sulani.
Nala, the oldest woman of the tribe, talks to Destiny about one of her favourite protector ... Hope. A tall, strong, black beautifull soul that protected her and the tribe for decades. Looking at Destiny, Nala reveals that she feels Hope’s soul in Des. She then reveals to her that few decades ago, the tribe decided to prevent global warming and a new capitalist invasion by sending women around the world (”you better know what your enemy can do”). Hope was one of the first woman to go there. She actually studied in Brindleton and met William Harbour, Destiny’s father. And that’s how the magic began between them two ...
Destiny is totally in tears and Nala brings her to the inside waterfalls. There, Destiny sees her mother’s spirit who smiles at her and hugs her :
“Finally ... You found me ... Don’t cry baby girl, mom is always here for you you know ? Look at yourself ! You’re a beautifull soul that has so much to learn ... Be strong Destiny okay ? There’s a huge evil storm that is coming but you’ll have the strenght, do you understand ? Mommy loves you baby girl ....
- I love you too mom”
Back to Brindleton’s place in which we discover Leïra, in a medical outfit, Edgar’s taking her blood to experiment it.
Hiro and Chester, drunk, are facing Leïra’s friends who decide to kidnap them both ...
