Julien hadn’t been having the best day, after having run into one of the newer assets who seemed particularly pissed off about his current situation.  He’d tried to attack Julien, but he’d used his power to try and quickly calm them down.  Which, really, was what Julien blamed for his current headache.  He was walking back toward his house with a cup of coffee in hand, glancing down and swirling the liquid around in the cup with an annoyed sigh.  When someone approached him, Julien’s brow furrowed and he glanced up.  “Can I help you?”

It didn’t took long for Erik to realise that someone was trailing after him silently. With a small gesture of his hand, he commanded some of the shadows to wrap themselves around the other’s limbs, binding the person from moving. “I’m not really a fan of being stalked after like a prey, either you tell me what is it that you want from me or the shadows would make you very, very uncomfortable.”

Manny was rubbing at his temple now, squinting and gritting his teeth. His head was pounding as his mind was filled with the noisy thoughts of those around him. He’d have thought after twenty four years of dealing with this whole psionic thing, he’d have gotten the blocking out other thoughts thing down, but it was harder than it looked. “Can you just––stop thinking?” he finally snapped to the person closest to him. “Just stop. It’s annoying as shit and I’m trying to focus.”
