Though she couldn't stand her ramblings more often than not, Meenah loved to listen to her friend talk. It wasnt the words she was interested in, it was the almost musical sound of her voice. She was like a siren really, that Aranea; her stories never failed to catch the royal's ear. At sea or on land it was her constant, a soft voiced ramble in her delicate ear fin- "-Meenah, are you even listening to me?" The other troll gave her mate's braid a tug, getting a teasing growl in response. "Not even a little bit, Serket." She couldnt help but laugh at her mate's outraged face, kissing her nose in response. "You're so cute when you're a grump~"

SARAH, Up in the Aether Con (this year's equivalent of World Steam Expo) is this weekend and I feel very weird about trying to go without you. If I agree to do something dumb like jump off a structure while wearing a bungee harness, who's going to be there to be convinced to do it with me?!

omg!!!!! oh man i didn’t even know that was a thing, i was all sad because wse was cancelled and i didn’t realize they’d replace it. 

so on one hand i’m like YES HAVE FUN IN MY STEAD, BUNGEE JUMP OFF THINGS SO THAT I MAY LIVE VICARIOUSLY THROUGH YOU (is that convincing idk)

but on the other im like “AUAuauughgh i wanna goooooooo”

(and on the third (small and malformed) hand im like “oh good now i don’t have to bungee jump off a structure”)
