I hate it when people act like you can't talk about disability/educate abled people without sharing your diagnosis/disability.
"Oh you should tell people your disability when they ask so that you can educate them!" it's just as educational, if not more, to tell somebody proper disability etiquette.
The average person probably isn't going to care about or even remember my specific disability, there are few scenarios where they'll actually apply that information, especially if we don't know each other very well.
But what they CAN apply on a regular basis is disability etiquette and how to actually interact with a disabled person.
TL;DR: disability education expands way beyond labels and disabled people don't owe you our medical history
