Come travel the Pagan festival circuit with us, and enjoy conversations that keep the fire bright!...
Okay, folks. If you’re not listening to Druids In Cars, Going To Festivals, well, I don’t know what to say other than: get on that!
@skylark913 and @chronarchy are great hosts.
Here are the highlights:
It’s not a bunch of men talking: though the two main hosts are a man and a woman, they strike a good balance, and bring in a lot of diverse voices.
Trans people talk about trans issues.
Most of the episodes are actually recorded by Druids in cars, going to festivals. It’s like sitting in the car driving to or from a festival with a few friends, chatting about stuff.
Episode 8 is all about trancework and the hurdles and mechanics involved.
Episodes 10 and 11 are about what it’s like to be a female priest, surrounded by men.
Episode 13 is a bunch of Druid Priests talking about their biggest fails in ritual. Like, starting with the wrong song in the middle of a ritual. Setting things on fire (that aren’t supposed to be burning). Knocking over the world tree during an ordination!
Episode 16 is about gender non-conformity, and episode 17 is about a man-making rite for a trans man.
There’s a bonus episode called “Space Druidry!” It’s about what earth-centered spirituality would be like if we weren’t stuck on earth.
You don’t have to listen to them in order: just pick one that interests you and dive in!
Give it a listen: you can find it on Podbean, or on iTunes/Stitcher/Google Play.
