Bob Dylan - Man Of Constant Sorrow
Anon, ‘A Man of Constant Sorrow’
In constant sorrow all through his days
I am a man of constant sorrow I've seen trouble all my days I bid farewell to old Kentucky The place where I was born and raised
For six long years I've been in trouble No pleasures here on earth I found For in this world I'm bound to ramble I have no friends to help me now
It's fare thee well my old true lover I never expect to see you again For I'm bound to ride that northern railroad Perhaps I'll die upon this train
You can bury me in some deep valley For many years where I may lay Then you may learn to love another While I am sleeping in my grave
Maybe your friends think I'm just a stranger My face you never will see no more But there is one promise that is given I'll meet you on God's golden shore

My second song of the day: "I'm A Man Of Constant Sorrow" of Soggy Bottom Boys . "Man of Constant Sorrow " is a traditional American folk song first Recorded by Dick Burnett. The song WAS Originally Recorded by Burnett as " Farewell Song " about 1913 , but the song was included in ” O’Brother" Cohen brothers' movie which is so brilliant and crazy ! I like almost all the songs from the film and can only encourage you to listen and watch , you will spend a good evening laugh ;) !

Leonard Rutherford and Dick Burnett. Dick Burnett (r.), a blind musician from South Central Kentucky, wrote the lovely "Man of Constant Sorrow." They traveled the South from 1914 to 1950, spreading songs they had heard and songs they wrote or adapted. "Man of Constant Sorrow," written in 1913, has been recorded by many others, making a featured appearance in O Brother, Where Are Thou?.
