BarkThins Coconut
The first item I tried the bark thins, which are these dark chocolate snacks. Unlike the other items, I asked my mom to pick them up from Target since the item had to be redeemed since it was in coupon form (My mom was already out and near the area). They had different flavors, but the flavor I ended up picking at the end was the coconut flavor.
To be honest, dark chocolate is not considered my favorite when it comes to chocolate. When I opened the packaging when it was dropped off, the strong scent of dark chocolate filled the air. It was a delicious smell. The texture was lovely, but the dark chocolate was a bit overwhelming. My mom who tried them with me, agrees that the dark chocolate was too strong. The plus side is the ingredients are natural.
Will I get this again? Eh, no. It was too strong for me and the taste lingered. It did tasted a bit better with a cup of milk. I like the concept, but I'm a milk chocolate kind of girl.
Blue Diamond Almonds Bold Sriracha Flavored
In general, I enjoy eating nuts of any kind. I've heard about Blue Diamond, but I've never bought that brand before. I have eaten food items with sriracha before, but not with snack items such as this. It's a very intriguing combination.
It smelled great, the smell of sriracha was prevalent here. The flavor was very savory and each crunch was quite satisfying. Once I started eating, I found myself having a hard time stopping. It's absolutely delicious, I even ate the crumbs. I can see myself eating these more often.
Will I get this again? Yes, yes I will. It's very tasty and I like the tasty.
Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Refreshingly Cleansing Cloths
I don't usually use cleansing cloth, I just wash my face with herb water and go. I've also heard of witch hazel, but never used it before. When I first opened the package, I smelled the inside. I wasn't a big fan of the smell that the product gave off. It was weird to me. For safety measures, I first apply the cloth on my wrist to make sure I wasn't allergic to witch hazel.
When it was deemed safe, I then wipe my face with the wipes. It seems to be effective in cleaning my face. I really wish the smell of the product smelled better. I have to admit, it did made my skin soft.
Will I get this again? Maybe not. Though it soften and cleanse my skin, I'm not a fan of the smell.
Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Moisturizer
This was my first time using a product like this. First I smell tested the product. It has a very pleasant scent. The smell sort of remind me of cucumbers. When it comes out of the can, it has a slightly creamy consistancy.
After spraying it on, I did what the instructions told me and rubbed it for my skin to absorb it. My skin absorbed rather quickly, which is a great attribute for the product to have. After it dried, my skin felt slightly soft (not much).
Will I get it again? Maybe, it felt kinda good.
Infusium 23 Moisture Replenisher Leave-in Smoothing Creme Enhanced with Avocado and Olive Oil
To start off, the product smelled like lotion, which makes sense, seeing that it moisturizes hair. When using it, my hair seemed to agree with it. I like how this company doesn't test on animals and it's a daily use item. The daily use made my hair feel a bit softer which is always a plus with me. I also like the creamy consistancy.
Will I use this item again? Why yes. Anything that my hair like is good in my book.
SinfulColors Nail Polish in Southern Belle
The last item in the VoxBox that I tested was SinfulColors Nail Polish. My mom tried it first and I noticed with her, the nail polish dries super fast. She really liked it and it was one of her favorite color, which is pink.
As for myself, pink is not my favorite color, but I did very much appreciate the fast drying of the polish. It's hard to find nail polishes that deliver on that promise.
Will I get it in the future? Yes, just in a different color.
