The Didomenicos’ Annual Turkey Drive
Peter Didomenico is an executive mortgage banker at William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is committed to giving back to the community. For almost a decade, he has directed the Didomenico & Friends Annual Turkey Drive. For the drive, Peter Didomenico, his family, friends, and neighbors donate and deliver Thanksgiving dinners to food banks and local churches. Since the annual turkey drive began, its reach has grown. The first year saw the family deliver 15 turkeys to a food bank in Bridgeport. In 2013, the family, friends and neighbors banded together and donated more than 200 turkey dinners to food banks and churches in the community. Participants donated food, assembled dinners, and packed them up before embarking on their delivery routes. Past and present recipients of the dinners have included Fresh Point, Feed the Sheep, Daughters of Charity, Kings Pantry, and the Eastend Community Center.
