My current main roster of OC’s I wanna work on in the future.

Sometimes you wanna draw stories/illustrations about android detectives (Rev 9 in his noir get up), lost astronauts (way in front), monster hunting luchadors (Diego Diablito next to Lost Astronaut), mad max desert adventurers (Joanna next to Rev), mad scientists (Dr. Jenny Barrera standing to the left of Rev), punk rock vigilantes (Vanguard at the very top), or the misadventures of an android lady in love (to the left of Lost Astronaut).

Someone once asked me about my OC’s and the idea that if they’d be part of a shared universe and get to know each other and i’ve been considering it more and more. While some series are largely independent (anything involving the neo noir future will probably never cross over with anything, maybe). Anyone in the spooky, superhero, or space settings are fair game tho.

And that sounds fun imagining the possibilties.

Can I just say how much I love your Diego Diablito art? I would read a whole comic about him and I'm really looking forward to seeing what other works you have in store for him. <3

Oh thanks anon! I'd also love to write and draw a whole comic about him too! He's pretty fun to draw! And I hope to have more stuff about him and his world in the future too.

The big mock poster I did for Diego Diablito. A character initially concieved as Ash Williams mexican counterpart. But then grew into being a love letter to the by gone era of cheap mexican pulp, luchadore iconography, and the increasing amounts of scary mexican folklore i’ve been consuming/learning. While marrying it to Americana. Kinda fitting as i myself am the product of the two cultures.

Reuploading some previous artwork with a new addition.

I had the idea that Diego has this undead ghost girl who i just call Olive who has this massive crush on him only to later learn she’s the daughter of one of his enemies, his towns version of the bloody mary/la llorna. Leading him to be in an uneasy stalemate because neither she nor Diego can hurt each other lest they make Olive cry.

I just like ghost girls. They’re fun to draw. Anyhoo I had the idea that Olive might have additional forms she changes into, such as being able to look like the scary spirit form her mother usually uses, the usual one she’s seen throughout in order to not seem as scary, and this more unique on seen here. Time will tell if it gets used or is used as the spring board for another OC.

A friend of mine really likes the graveyard ghost I created a lot, and keeps inspiring me to draw her more often.

I write that she has this big crush on Diego and is one of the few supernatural beings that can enter Diego’s home without problem despite the various safeguards he has that are meant to make it impossible to enter. It’s theorized that she’s able to come and go as she pleases because she’s harmless and rather sweet.

She usually just leaves little gifts for him like a secret admirer.

Just an illustration I did for a personal project i’d love to do someday.

Diego Diablito is essentially the Hellboy in Mexico stories and Evil Dead. In which a monster/demon killing badass luchador/vaquero fights evil and also woos supernatural women.

So pretty much everything i was promised when i’d see those cheap mexican pulps and luchador films i’ve been becoming fascinated with.
