I didn't want to stand still for the family selfie, but my human and my daddy @sammac1996 really wanted me in the picture so I held still, for a second at least. I had an amazing adventure at the beach and I can't wait to go back there soon! I may miss the forests of Washington, but swimming in the ocean is a decent trade off.
Swimming in the ocean for the first time was so exciting! The waves surprised me sometimes but I could jump over them and I'm a really good swimmer. This was nothing like the creeks back in Iowa though! I got lots of water and sand in my fur but I shook myself off all over my human's clothes and got lots of rubs with a towel.
My human and I take good care of each other and get to go on lots of fun adventures. The sand felt weird beneath my paws but I still loved jumping and running! I was spinning in circles on my leash with how excited I was. I may have been born a long time ago, but I am still very much a puppy.
Guess who got to go to the beach for the first time! I liked swimming but the waves scared me sometimes. I never stopped wagging my tail! Lots of people wanted to pet me, but they couldn't since I was working. It may look like a vacation but I was working hard the entire time.
She liked cuddling with my back leg, even when I moved it! I'm so happy that she is getting used to me. I can't wait until I can give her kisses, but I don't want to scare her. Samhain is so precious!
Someone got me with a sneak attack! I went back to napping afterwards, a big caterpillar is just extra cuddles
Samhain decided it was safe to cuddle with me, through the safety of our humans jacket. I would say this is good progress!
We are starting to reach and understanding. I try to stay out of her face so I don't scare her! Sometimes I forget how big I am and she runs away, but she has sniffed me and will relax around me so I'm a happy puppy big brother.
