Boy that was close! I feel lucky to have seen Dieter Glogowskis very last photo slide show about delivering 8 lucky Buddhist symbols to all the highest mountains in Nepal during 5 years before his retirement. Lots of funny, inspirational but also moving stories included. Like the one where the wife of a Nepalese friend of his got bitten by a cobra while doing field work. He carried his wife 5km to the doctors and the just laughed at him and let her die because he had no money. What bastards! I can't get this story out of my head.
