Enjoy the fusion of Vietnamese and American flavors with these delicious Bahn Mi Burgers. The savory pork patty is complemented by the freshness of cucumber, carrot, and cilantro, while the Sriracha Lime Mayo adds a spicy kick. It's a unique and satisfying burger experience!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground pork. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp ginger, minced. 1/2 tsp five-spice powder. 4 burger buns. 1 cucumber, thinly sliced. 1 carrot, julienned. 1 jalapeno pepper, thinly sliced. Fresh cilantro leaves. 4 tbsp mayonnaise. 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce. 1 lime, juiced. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and five-spice powder. Mix well and form into 4 burger patties. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the pork patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through. While the burgers are cooking, split and toast the burger buns on the grill until lightly browned. In a small bowl, prepare the Sriracha Lime Mayo by mixing mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust Sriracha to your preferred level of spiciness. To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of Sriracha Lime Mayo on both halves of the toasted buns. Place a grilled pork patty on the bottom bun, then top with cucumber slices, julienned carrot, jalapeno slices, and fresh cilantro leaves. Top with the other half of the bun and secure with a toothpick if needed. Serve your Bahn Mi Burgers with extra Sriracha Lime Mayo on the side and enjoy!
