Ok but, and hear me out here.

What about Barty who never wanted to be a deatheater at all? What about Barty who had no choice?

He could either stay at home and live in the caged and abusive home that was the crouch residence. Or he could join an organization that goes against all his morals but he'd get to stay with his friends who are the only people who properly cared about him.

Give me Barty who tore himself up over this decision and ultimately made the one that was ironically more comfortable.

Regretful decisions that I had to make,

Having to learn to swim before letting myself drown,
