I miss when Mercury Filmworks animated SVTFOE. I was fine when Toon City took over and Mercury likely did the key animations. With Rough Draft Korea and Sugarcube, the animation is kinda stiff to be honest. Sugarcube was alright but amazing when it comes to lighting/vector sizing. I'm honestly not fond of RDK's style for drawing characters w/thin outlines (even in close-up shots) loss of detail when characters are drawn tiny, and jerky animation (Star's spells/fast paced scenes). Your thoughts?
Mostly agree (though I’m pretty sure Mercury had no involvement in Toon City’s eps). Rough Draft’s stuff does feel a little more organic than Sugarcube’s, but yeah that has some trade-offs.
