Le barrage hydroélectrique du lac du Drennec est une installation située dans le Finistère, en Bretagne, qui a vu le jour en 1981 et a été inauguré en 1982 par Gaston Defferre, ministre de l'Intérieur.
Ce barrage, qui mesure 280 mètres de long et 30 mètres de haut, peut retenir 8,7 millions de mètres cubes d'eau.
Il a été construit entre 1979 et 1982 sur l'amont du bassin-versant de l'Élorn à Sizun.
Depuis décembre 2009, la retenue du barrage est équipée de turbines pour la production d'électricité.
En décembre dernier, une nouvelle centrale hydroélectrique faisait ses premiers tours de turbine, alimentée par la chute d'eau du barrage du lac du Drennec.
Cette centrale, qui utilise trois microturbines installées en sortie de sa conduite forcée, produit environ 150 kilowatts/heure, soit la consommation de 120 maisons de 100 m².
Le barrage du Drennec a également été rénové en 2024 avec des travaux souterrains et sous-marins pour réhabiliter l'une de ses conduites d'évacuation et moderniser la commande électrique.
En plus de la production d'électricité, le barrage joue un rôle important dans la régulation du débit de l'Elorn, la sécurité des prélèvements d'eau potable, et offre des espaces de loisirs au grand public.
