Lukas came to with a pounding headache and an empty space in his memory where the last hour or so (he supposed) should be. He lifted a hand to his head, groaning. “Wo ist...?”

“Course it looks like Russia, ye drongo!” He had to think a moment on the question, however. What year was it again? “Twenty... twenty somethin’. Seventy? Twenty sixty somethin’ or seventy somethin’.” Of that much he was reasonably sure. Of course he wasn’t sure about much, between his many interactions with different people. Sometimes everything seemed so much less advanced and others, they seemed modern. It was... weird, really.

“Ooh, sounds fun!” He said cheerfully. “So you play too?”

"Yeah!" There's a few enthusiastic nods before Yugi corrected himself with a light shrug.

"Or, well, I try to. I can't always play as much as I like, with helping out Granpa at the shop, and looking for colleges, and working on my own games... But that's okay. The others have their things going on too."

Yugi bit his lip before his expression cleared. "I'm sure I can get everyone together for a one-shot though! Will you join us if we do that, Isaac?"

"Oh! You should join one of our game nights then." He gave Isaac a toothy grin. "I'm sure my friends will welcome some fresh meat!"

He smiled at the other’s reply. “I haven’t thought of it that way before.”

Yugi cracked a sheepish smile. "According to my teachers, I probably think a lot more about this stuff than I should!"
