they actually already knew each other before the killing game, through being in the same friend group at secondary school in England. they briefly went their separate ways when Dimity stayed at their school's sixth form, and Fizza went to a college in a different city. throughout the years, some of Fizza's more elaborate clocks and Dimity's larger embroidery pieces have ended up in galleries and museums, and they've done quite a few collabs too. they reunited properly upon finding out that Eden's Garden Academy invited them both and took the flight to America together. unfortunately, their trip to the prestigious school didn't go as planned!!
Fizza is the calm, polite, mildly socially anxious one. she always tried her best to be a perfect student and loved school. she's always been amazing at detail work, so working on clocks and watches fit her perfectly. she started out by just repairing and restoring them, and then fell in love with designing and building her own. meanwhile, Dimity is the brutally honest, combative, and confrontational one that always says exactly what she's thinking. she spent most of her school years stitching away under desks instead of paying attention and arguing with teachers over uniform when they'd yell at her every single day to take out her earrings and stop wearing makeup and heels. despite their opposing personalities, both of them always got on well, a friendship filled with mutual respect and admiration for the other's personality and craft. bonus: they both attended debate club during school. Fizza, on recommendation from an English teacher, in order to build her confidence. Dimity just wanted to argue!!

Fizza's birthday, 10th October, is World Watch Day. Dimity's, 30th July, is World Embroidery Day (and she wears her birthstone, rubies, as earrings)
Fizza is an Arabic name meaning "silver." Akhtar is a Persian name that means "star"or "good fortune." Dimity is an English name that means "of double thread" and is a type of cotton fabric. Jin is a Chinese name meaning "gold." the silver and gold girlies <3
