this was going to be my drawing for the last day of elliedina week but idk if i’ll ever be motivated to finish it, so here it is for now

First, we want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated, both those of you who created content, and those of you who liked and reblogged.

And a very special thanks to @unadulteratedcolorkid for this amazing compilation post!

We were so afraid that this whole thing would be a huge failure. But it ended up being so much more successful than we could have imagined,  and we were absolutely blown away by the reception we got. This fandom is so incredibly talented, and everyone is just so wonderful. 

It’s taught us that if you want to do something... just do it!

We’ve loved seeing what everyone has been able to create, and happy to have discovered so many new artists, writers, and content creators. 

We’ve gotten a lot of people thanking us and writing so many kind words for us for doing this and we appreciate that so much. But it was all of you who really made this happen. 

If it wasn’t for all of you creating things, and really flexing on other fandoms with all this talent, there wouldn’t have been an EllieDina week. 

We do plan to come back next year, and will let everyone know the concrete date when we get there.

A few things we’ll try to do for next year:

Be a little more organized

Get the word out a little earlier. We know that this whole thing happened on very short notice (which makes it even more impressive that you all were able to do all of this).

Pick better themes. We noticed that the themes were hard for some people, and especially difficult for things like photomode posts. We want to make sure it’s easier for everyone to participate next time.

We’ll still check this blog for the next week or so, to make sure we don’t miss any late posts, and to get things more organized. But after that we probably won’t check here much. If you have any questions or comments (or just want to say hi) you can message us at @skribbz or @apocalypsebutch
