My son was attacked and bitten by a dingo at Lake McKenzie in 1999. A Japanese Dr treated him on the beach for a bite and bruising down his thigh but it didnt break the skin, partly because I literally launched myself onto it bad enough it took off in shock. The next day a lady was attacked and mauled on the same beach sunbaking. The dingo bit her stomach and rolled her over opening up her shoulder badly. She was airlifted out nek minnut the press showed up and we were asked to give a 6 o'clock news interview my ex said yes but I refused. I dont see it as the animals responsibility to know these things and I know I dressed my kids in camo everything and we were isolated around the edge of the lake and playing bent down in reeds looking like rock wallabies at the waters edge. Doesnt take rocket science. No interview to help demonise an innocent animal I shut it down. Weve been back but we never forget it's up to us to stay safe and remember who lives there. #dingosoffraser #dingo #fraserisland #notmyhome #oneworldonelove #custodiansoftheplanet #dingoeshome #notrespassing #lakemckenzie #camoflauge #camo #dingos (at Fraser Island) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwlEctvBbJX/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=133rzibjgp84y
