Dinnertime Update

It’s been far too long since I’ve posted one of these. Link’s been busy teaching me how to prepare his favorite dishes so that I may someday cook for him, and there haven’t been many scrumptious meals as a result—I’m terrible with the cookpot as it stands.

Anyways, tonight Link prepared a delicious Prime Meat and Rice Bowl, which, despite our appetites, turned out to be more than enough for the two of us! We decided to share the remainder with one of Link's friends, a large blue accordion-playing Rito named Kass. He was a charming fellow, and seemed more than happy to finish up after us.

As I'm writing this, Link has decided that I'm his new pillow, and it's quite adorable... If only I could figure out the camera on this Sheikah Slate.

He's so precious. Sweet dreams, my handsome Hylian.

Dinnertime Update!

Link and I spent the day gathering ingredients for a nice Seafood Paella. It was delicious, and a great experience for the both of us.

At least, most of it was. When Link and I used the Shiekah Slate to teleport from the Domain, I got so queasy I nearly evacuated my lunch on the steps of the shrine. Thankfully the return trip went by smoother, but it wasn’t very pleasant. I wonder how Link does it so well?

Dinnertime Update!

Tonight Link baked a Fish Pie, with a side of Seafood Fried Rice! The fish pie was absolutely incredible, the flaky crust really bringing out the softness of the freshly caught Hyrule Bass. The fried rice had a delicious scattering of Hearty Blueshell Snail mixed in, which, while being a bit overwhelming with the addition of the fish pie, will be an excellent touch for when I eat the leftovers tomorrow at noon.

Link is surely the most amazing chef and baker in all of Hyrule! I have no doubt that, if I could send food through this Shiekah Slate, you would all agree!

Dinnertime Update!

Tonight, Link cooked some Gourmet Meat Stew with a side of Creamy Vegetable Soup!

The stew was deliciously thick, the meat itself tender and moist, as it should be. I'm a very pampered Zora!

Dinnertime Update!

Tonight Link made two plates of Salt-Grilled Prime Meat. With a nice glass of freshly pressed apple cider, it was quite the meal! The delicious meat was cooked to a nice medium-rare (categorized by a warm, red center), with a delectable buttery, salty coating. It was quite smart of Link to brush the meat with melted Goat’s Butter before grilling, as it diluted the salt enough to be enjoyable, while adding that creamy, delicious warmth that Goat’s Butter is known for. That’s my Hylian, thinking of what would make a better dish! He’s an absolutely astounding person!

Dinnertime Update!

Tonight, Link made some Curry Rice, with some Apple Pie for dessert!

The Curry Rice was rich, and pleasantly spicy, with the mild sweetness of well-made rice, and I have to say, Link is just the best chef. As for the Apple Pie... It was absolutely scrumptious! The crust was buttery, melted in my mouth, and the filling just coated my tongue (and most of my chest, when I forgot I was holding the plate)!

It was the best dessert Link's cooked up so far, and I should hope he continues making them!

Dinnertime Update!

Tonight, Link and I shared some delicious Roasted Bass.

Sometimes the simplest of meals can really warm your heart. I had better get to sleep now, or Link’s going to have to pull me into a cold bath in the morning!

Tonight, Link cooked some amazing Crab Risotto!

He is truly the greatest, an astounding chef. I’m so lucky to have him.
