i know i despise this story for what it did to Iklies but a VADD au where as punishment for putting them into a time loop, the Leila drives Vinter to insanity which causes the destruction of the empire.

now i didn't think of this just because i want Vinter's ass to be beat but also because i think the concept of Vinter as an antagonist is very interesting. i mean look, he's constantly turning back time to find a perfect outcome that prevents the destruction of the world but he's also putting the lives of others in danger, sounds like a good corruption arc tbh.

while Vinter started the loop to find a way to save the world from the Leila, as time went on it became less about saving the world and more about controlling the outcome he wants. his obsession for destroying the Leila inadvertently put the lives of others at further risk of destruction. and seeing this, the Leila takes the perfect chance to come out of the shadows and manipulate him. Vinter is already in a very vulnerable state, he's at the edge of insanity, the time loops taking a toll on his psyche. to him, saving the world didn't matter to him anymore as long as the Leila is lurking around in the shadows.

so like the condescending freak she is, the Leila leads him on, making him desperate to find alternative solutions to destroy her once and for all. with Vinter's dark thoughts slowly consuming him, the Leila sees no need on destroying things herself, for she has a worthless wizard to do the job for her.

i don't have a clear ending for this au but i'll leave it there, this story is making me disappointed anyways.

i've been hyperfixiating for a long time and i just starting imagining that one vine where that woman says "what would you do if there was a child right in front of you?" being the Leila when she decided to take young Yvonne's body.

Ok let's be honest we need the one important headcanon.

Penelope as a witch. Not a shitty wizard. In her youth, the tarot cards told her that she would meet her death by looking into the eyes of a "fake princess", and therefore after the death of her mother, she in every possible way avoided any contact with the nobility.

I mean what if she's would a forest witch who just doing her job and once apon time, not far from her house, she meets a crazy guy who calls himself the Crown Prince.

Of course, you can't run away from fate.

Unfortunately it took her a while to realize that his awful demeanor and annoying whining was not a way to kill her. It will take a long time before she understands his extremely peculiar flirtation, but but that's another story...

hi there! this may be a bummer but all of the translations of the novel i had read have been taken down as of now...

now the only way to read it is if you have access to a PDF file of the novel’s english version. i’m pretty sure you can buy the Korean raws if you want to directly support the author for their hard work since that’s the only thing i can think of.

i used to be able to have access to this link on N*v*lUpdates, however a fellow user had told me it doesn’t work anymore. if it’s okay with you, if i’m able to find a way to send you a PDF you can ask me for a DM. other than that, i don’t think i can find a way to read a translated and proofread version of the novel yet, but thank you for asking!
