Marathon night marsh is REALLY good. I think that adding the UESC cert system to the game sort-of works to spread some of that really interesting outpost/cryo archive vibe to other maps.

I really enjoy the general way that the game leans into keycards and security clearance and what not. It's a very fun callback to old boomer shooters having keycard based levels in spades.

On top of that, it's ACTUALLY scary and I love that. The husks are really really neat, and when you see one in the light it's whatever, but when you open a door and there's one there that just screeches and runs at you? I screamed like a little girl.

The big anomalous blobs or whatever are neat. They're annoying to deal with, but that's fine? They're kind of stationary so it's all good. Do they drop something? If not that's a bit silly. I've killed a bunch, but haven't checked. They should drop something small imo.

The towers around the map are a really nice way to get some weapons quickly, especially if you know which towers open which kind of cache. I've yet to really crack complex, but that'll come with time.

Also; the fights on the map have been GREAT. The darkness introduces more variables into a fight, which is awesome. I like worrying about how light things are a lot.

Sentinel is cool. The cradle has me SACRIFICING loot. Off to feed my worm. I'm a bit weirded out that the traxus quest had no cutscene when I finished it? Maybe there'll be more as I progress. Idk.
