Padparadscha, initially given a simple part, one day demands something challenging, something that she can adapt to her inability to directly live in the moment - and she's like the new talk of Hollywood, Kansas, whatever.
Also Spinel spams them with comedy stories - "like playtime but with words and less standing around than the time Steven's mom fucked me over" - in hopes she'll be the one to overthrow the King of Cinema, a Woody Allen expy who's a really talented but sex-obsessed creep who can't come to terms with his ex-partner morally objectifying to him dating her daughter from another marriage so he just loudly complains about his ex at all times
