So one of my favorite films as a kid was Small Soldiers and later I learnt it had one of my favorite movie casting gags ever

So for those who havent seen the movie : Its about toys which are infuesed with military grade technology basically coming to life ,and there are two faction the peaceful Gorgonites and the militant Comando Elite

Now someone in the casting department had too much fun with the voices for the Comando Elite ,cause with the exception of Tommy Lee Jones as big bad Chip Hazard and Bruce Dern as Link Static......The rest of them are played by the at the time surviving cast of the Dirty Dozen :Jim Brown,Ernest Borgnine ,Clint Walker and George Kennedy !Heck the reason Bruce Dern is Link,is cause Richard Jaekyl passed before shooting began and Tommy Lee Jones is Chip Hazard cause Charles Bronson said no

Apparently the original casting gag was goona be the cast of Predator ,but I like that they went with the Dirty Dozen cast ,I think the older actors add a little something
