“Birth of cubs is a real miracle! ✨🎉 ⠀ Recently, at the Feldman Ecopark Bats Rehabilitation Center, a wonderful event happened - a female Lily of the Two-colored gave birth to a twin!
This female came to us in November and remained on life support due to a wing injury. During one of the alternations, a CRC employee noticed a significant increase in the abdominal cavity and the weight of the animal, after which it was sent to our vet. The doctor examined Lily and for the first time tested the method of ultrasound diagnostics, by which one can see the spine of one of the fruits. A few days later the female gave birth.
Now little bats feed on mother's milk, grow and develop. Ahead of them is the transition to solid food and flight training at Bat Collider, after which the animals will be able to return to the wild. ⠀ In this way, disabled bats give life to healthy offspring that restore population and preserve species.”
