I haven't heard from my friend in a year. Where did she go?

When i was in highschool a new girl came into my class at the end of sohpmore year. Her name was krystal, and we became friends pretty quick. She quickly became a part of our little social circle. Junior year we became really close friends and senior year she continued to be in our little group. Then... she disappeard.

Now it's really hard to disapper now a day with facebook, e-mail, texting, all the social networks. But krystal just DISAPPEARED. It was a slow dissaperance and i kinda knew it was always going to happen. I havent hear from her in almost a year so i really need to write this down what happened so excuse the length of this. 

Krystal's parents were always very judgmental and over protective of her, she wasnt allowed to have a cell phone all throughout highschool. Senior year she got one but they locked it so that she could only call them. She wasn't allowed to have e-mail or facebook or even use the phone. She had an e-mail under an alias named krissy johnson. Her parent's didnt let her go to any dance, didnt let her hang out with people, didn't let her go to prom. They were so controling, my sweet 16 they were going to let her come, but she wore a v neck to school the week before so they punished her.The strange part about this all was she saw nothing wrong with this, she honestly thought it was good parenting.

Her parents would compare her to her 8 year old sister, call her the problem child and constantly make her feel like she was not wanted. She'd come to school an hour early and use the internet at school just to watch Skin's her favorite show. Her parents had found out she saw skins and fliped out. 

Krystal told us that her parents were a layer and an dermatologist. But i don't think she was telling the truth, from what she told me, she had never stayed in a school more than a semester and our school was the first time in her entire life she had stayed long enough to make real friends. she begged her parents every semester to stay she didnt wana loose us, and we didnt wana loose her. 

Senior year, she told us her parents were going to move to new york city and she beged them to let her graduate here. they agreed but she HAD to go to college in NYC which was not a big deal considering her dream school was baruch and thats  in nyc, they said they were going to buy a place next to her college so she could go there. Everything was working out her for ... untill about 2 weeks before the end of school. One day kayla and i foud krystal Balling her eyes out on the steps, she had woken up to find her house being packed, her parents were moving her back to texas and she wasnt going to go to graduation they didnt let her apply for finincal aid so she couldnt go to barcuh and they had to leave ASAP. Kayla and i were so upset, how DARE they do this to her. We gave her a ticket to unviersal and told her to ditch her parents come with us and have a rebelous day, she was leaving anyway why follow the rules... she didnt. she did come to graduation she had convinced her parents to let her stay till then but then she left

Our group of friends had spilt up. I was in NYC ,kayla was at UF, Woube was in orlando, Miranda was in NC at the time, and krystal was at UT... well we thought. I got an e-mail from her early on saying that her parents didnt want her going to college so they were keeping her at home till they moved to nyc so she could go to baruk. the first few weeks we would all get e-mails from krystal wed update each others life and such and it was fine. UNTIL about febuary we got a very short e-mail that basically said " im fine, im in upstate new york and i will be starting my life soon, i know my parents are doing the right thing" that was the last i heard from her and it's been almost a year

I am so so so worried about her, I have no idea if shes ok. I know there is something up with this, i know that she isnt just upstate something is going on. How could two people afford to move around that much in this economy, and into big houses as well. Moving around with jobs that require you to stablize clients. Why keep your 18 year old daughter away from the world. Somethign is up and this worries me everyday

I know krystal is not going to see this, I know i may never hear from her again, but i just wish i knew what happened, why did my friend just leave my life.
