Anyways, look what I figured out, everyone!
No fucking WONDER chapter 10 of Lavender Sheets took so long! It's actually chapter 10 and 11! Luckily, there was a pretty easy splitting point almost exactly in the middle.
I dearly hope to get chapter 10 out tomorrow night, because next week...oh, next week. ❤️ My kid has all-day camp, my parenting-a-parent obligations have ended, and I can indulge in writing and podficcing.
(My mother-in-law, who has Alzheimer's and is now a severe fall risk, recently moved into a retirement facility that feels like a cruise. I had extra kid-parenting duties this past month, while my husband was busy with all that, plus helping empty the jam-packed apartment she lived in for the last 25 years. Now I can just visit her instead of being an unpaid nurse.)
