Good news- I’m kin with Nora from RWBY! I have no memories but that’s cause I haven’t watched the show in forever so once I get the chance I’m gonna marathon it. I just know I shift her a LOT and it feels a lot like Mako in terms of experiences!! So uh, hi everyone!!
I tend to shift Opal without realizing it when i’m angry or think I can’t handle something so I shifted so much the past two days. The first one was on my way to my friend’s house and i was on a ramp and couldn’t slow down and i thought i was done for, i ended up being fine [[overreacting tbh]] but I shifted so hard I actually jumped a bit because my wings were like HELLO And then I shifted Ruby, Opal and Mako a lot at this roller coaster park I went to yesterday?? Opal and Ruby really like Roller Coasters and Mako likes the atmosphere I guess. Journey’s too skittish for that stuff so i didn’t shit that at all. My friend also yelled at me at one point and I was straight up Opal for like 15 minutes. Like, in front of my friends. That was scary af tbh But no memory recovery, it was nice feeling like I could fly again at least // Still not shifting that much because I’m only home for today, but I might be tapping into Journey today to let that have some time too//
I saw Sardonyx and shifted Ruby IMMEDIATELY
It was like INSTANT when I saw her. And it was literally just “THAT’S ME. THAT’S ME I’M A PART OF THAT OH MY GOD” and I keep getting flashes and memories as my time as sardonyx I don’t even remember being Garnet as intensely as I do this oh my god
Things: Shifted Opal, Ruby, and Journe-y at the same time last night when I was driving home. I was very tired, and every time I shifted I got a course of energy. It felt like it was switching so that I could be kept awake almost, it was really interesting. [[driving is hard as ruby because it’s like SUP UR GEM IS ON UR HAND NOW]] I shifted Mako this morning, got my first canon memory!! I remembered what it was like being two star for a little while. Terrifying, btw, but wow the power-- My gem has been projecting all day and my wings are getting there, my tail seems like it flickers and my spine spikes are also kind of flickering?? So I’m not sure what happened but it seems like my dragon projections are coming back, which is a relief
I shifted ruby and had a memory. I remember being on the ship, away from sapphire. I was so scared, but I knew she was okay I just knew it. Sapphire is strong. When we reunited, I teared up so bad oh gosh, but that hug was everything. She smelled so sweet, her hair was so soft. She asked if i was okay and I told her it didn't matter, and that's when the memory faded. There's no question now, I'm Kin with Ruby.
I guess what I’ll do is watch the new episodes with the gems I think I might be kin too and write down reactions?? I’ll just be reblogging this post for this one so I guess just blacklist Opal Live if you don’t wanna see?
I’m not sure if I’m kin with someone from Steven Universe or just REALLY want to be.
I feel very strong feelings towards it, and my first instinct was “oh I must be thinking Amethyst!!” because i’ve always connected with her. But when I rewatched it to get a feel, Amethyst was one of like. five. I feel Amethyst, but not very strongly unless I’m looking at her. I feel Lapis, but probably the weakest. I feel Peridot, but I’m not sure how strongly. and then I feel a STRONG connection to Garnet, but not like, Garnet?? Either Ruby or Sapphire, but I’m.. I’m leaning towards Ruby. And it’s like. What. That’s a character that feels waay out of my limit but she’s the strongest for me right now. At the same time, I feel compelled to keep watching and see what happens because I’m not sure if the person I’m kin with has appeared yet.
Grooans kins can be so hard ;A; I just knew I was Mako the second I saw her and I knew I was Journeykin the second I played the game. But my kinfeels with Zacharie from OFF and now possibly Ruby or someone else have been so confusing I don’t know what to do ;A;
Neat little milestones since beginning this blog:
Dragonkin: I know what my horns look like, I can feel my astral wings a bit stronger, and i’m slowly recovering the tiniest little pieces. I’m gaining other dragon friends [[kind of]] and i feel very strong to this kin despite my lack of memories!!
Mako fickin: Recovered tons of little memories and a couple big memories, met TONS of new friends, found out one of my favorite con buddies is kin with nonon which is AWESOME.
Journey fickin: Literally everything. I had no idea i was journeykin til after starting this blog.
