now, skaikru wouldn’t blame him, wouldn’t lock him up, wouldn’t even speak to him badly and certainly wouldn’t hand him over to lexa for appropriate punishment. and wouldn’t even try him themselves for war crimes, which is... the obvious thing to do.

octavia, though. o... octavia. she never massacres anyone, only impliments a harsh system of punishment that may lead to death or freedom, and makes people eat other people in order to survive.

Merrill is literally one of the most passionate and intelligent characters in the games. She is highly perceptive and obviously strong-willed, she’s been through some SHIT, YO and doesn’t let it steer her from what she believes in or wants to achieve. The majority of the fandom dislike or condescend her.  Cullen is literally the most boring character I have ever had the displeasure of seeing on a game. His story is filled with plotholes, he was like?? disgusting?? to a Templar who had been through the same thing he’d been through, essentially ( remember that quest where you save that templar from being possessed and he’s witnessed his comrades die and had his mind fucked with wow exactly like cullen and cullen is a grade a fucking douchebag about it and wants him out of the order ), he’s disgusting to his own comrades and he has little to no reliability or likability other than his physical attraction that MAGICALLY APPEARED in the third game. Also his leadership skills MAGICALLY APPEARED in the third game ( um?? where did all this care come from?? how did he magically go from abusing and terrorizing his own comrades to leading a fucking army with ease? ) but don’t worry the fandom loves him because he’s attractive and has a sexy voice and is ‘tortured’. :_)
