@dishonoredblade decided to hop on the pain train !
16 years .
it had been so long , so long since haytham had last seen him . he had thought that he had forgotten him .
when he spotted the man across the docks , his breath caught , as if in awe . the other man’s beauty had not lessened since their last encounter , and haytham was still caught off guard by it , even after so long .
around them the world slowed , and it was only them . when they finally came face to face , haytham had no words . none that could express how he felt , anyway .
his actions spoke for him . he pulled the other into a hug , biting back tears of relief . he has once believed that he would never see the other again .
