The Only Thing I'm Going To Say About Miley's VMA Performance Is
Since I didn't watch the VMA's and only saw a couple clips from Miley's performance, the one everyone is having a problem with, all I'm saying is this:
I remember when Miley's song Can't be Tamed came out and EVERYONE thought she was so out of control and ridiculous and "oh my god what happened to sweet little Miley" and it was like the damn world had ended.
Before Miley cut her hair, and bleached it blonde, and decided to become different from everyone else and become her own person there was already a shit ton of people lining up to judge her and belittle her for being who she wants to be. And why should she feel bad for that? Feel ridiculed? Because once your a Disney star your're ONLY supposed to represent Disney for the rest of your life? I don't fucking think so. I think Disney, like any other fucking acting job, is just that. A JOB. You WORK it and yes you represent the company WHILE YOUR STILL WORKING THERE but when you're done you're done. There's no contract for life.
So if you're saying "oh my god childhood ruined" because you can't move the fuck on and realize people grow up then that says more about you than it does about her. You don't have to support what she does, but please don't jump on the bandwagon because it's cool or gets you notes or like or whatever because honestly it's not. If you want to be respected then you have to respect other people, INCLUDING CELEBRITIES because they're people too and the same shit we fuck up with and make mistakes with, guess what? They do the same things.
So yeah, I saw her on stage, air-fucking with a finger foam and grinding on Robin Thicke but I see no one had a problem with him accepting it and letting it happen. I don't know why it's ok for him to do that and her not to. They're both married. They both have a spouse so tell me, what's the difference?
So in the end, all I'm saying is yeah, maybe Miley was a little surprising at the awards show but ok? Move on with your damn life, if all you do for a living is worry about what she does and how she's not following Disney protocol then you clearly have something wrong with you, its not just her.
