Canadian artist Cheyanne Summer returns with genre-defying track ‘Circles’ featuring her signature soulful vocals and mesmerising songwriting talent. With notable pop-rock, R&B and folk influences, Cheyanne’s shimmering vocals glide across an understated guitar riff for a laid-back, summery yet sultry sound. ‘Circles’ features a host of talented session musicians, contributing violin motifs, sparkling piano sounds and a slow-rock drum beat; harmonic and perfectly complimenting Cheyanne’s gorgeous vocal melodies. Cheyanne adds: “This song was inspired by feeling like I can’t break free from how people view me and how they think I’m supposed to be”. Melancholic and wistful, Cheyanne sets out to prove those people wrong on ‘Circles’. Listen below.
The Swedish band Hux Flux blends garage rock with poppy synth sounds on their first single 'Don’t Wanna' - a song about not wanting to do what is expected of you and feeling trapped by the things you want to do. Simply put, not fitting in anywhere. Hux Flux is a new band that formed when Linda and Phil decided that their previous project Baronen & Satan didn’t work anymore. With B&S they released an album and EP on Dirty Water Records US. When the pandemic hit, Hux Flux got creative and wrote an album worth of songs. 'Don’t Wanna' is the first taste of what to expect. They describe their sound as ”electric garage with a crush to fuzz popping punk to dance with a trashy amp”. A self released EP is coming later in the year, mixed and mastered by the garagerock legend Jim Diamond. Listen to 'Don't Wanna' below.
Singer-songwriter Dominique Simone is back with her latest single ‘Again’. Dominique commands her own distinctive sound beautifully blending elements of Neo-Soul, Alternative R&B, and Pop Ballard to create an emotive track perfect for any late-night reflection. The track is a breakup song that intertwines a delicate arrangement of instruments with Dominique’s powerful vocal range and velvety delivery. The track ebbs and flows throughout showcasing Dominique’s sentimental lyrics and melancholic emotions which crescendos into a final chorus where Dominique bares all in a raw performance that showcases her ability to stir emotions, leaving the listener reflective yet somewhat hopeful. Dominique’s main mission is simple “I want to make music you feel glad you found”. Listen to 'Again' below.

Zoe Watson is a singer-songwriter-producer born in South-West England. She is currently in Paris but not really based anywhere. She writes music mostly at her keyboard that goes with her everywhere she goes, and also on her laptop. Her musical inspirations are wide. "I like the expansive productions of artists like Grimes and the personal, detailed lyrics of songwriters like Françoise Hardy",she says. This is reflected in her work which blends the genres of electro-pop and intimate singer-songwriter. She recently released her Withdrawals EP. Title track 'Withdrawals' "is a reflection on a relationship that always seemed incomplete and unfulfilled, yet in spite of that, utterly addictive."she explains. "The rollercoaster was so thrilling, and horrifying at times, that I became unable to face a normal, stable existence. I started to wonder if it was really love or just a sort of drug. I knew deep down that I had to find the self-possession to walk away, and let the withdrawals play out." Listen below.
Independent UK artist Christabel is bringing an alternative sound to the music scene. Writing and recording her songs in her bedroom studio, she then works alongside her drummer and producer to create the nostalgic modern sound which makes her stand out from the crowd. Musically she is inspired by the Eagles, and her own dreamy imagination. She has just released her album A Dream Away. Listen to the track 'I Walked A Lie' below. "This song is about the unspoken romance between myself and a friend," says Christabel. "Musically it draws upon themes of dreams and the mysterious circumstances in which the friendship later became / turned into something more. I wrote this song one evening about a year ago after reflecting upon the situation explored within the song. After recording the rest of the instrumentation myself, I then worked with my talented drummer and producer Eamonn Kelly, who brought the song to life."
Charleston-based band Cry Baby have released their new EP Everything I Didn’t Say - a genre hopping, vibe heavy record that captures the feeling of finally having the guts to hand your crush a mixtape. With a distinct nostalgia for the 90’s/Y2K era, Cry Baby brings a dated sound into the modern age. Producing a hybrid of electronic driven, yet full band music, Cry Baby sets out to do it all. "My go-to track right now is 'She Like's to Get High' - it has become a favorite to perform live because I feel like it really embodies the mood that Cry Baby creates," explains the band. "It takes you back in time, but also fits in the realm of pop today in it's own way. It has this sick nasty guitar solo at the end (our friend Avery from Whitehall is amazing) that gives it a rough edge! I love that it has a little bit of everything in it." Listen below.
