DISTORTED HUMOR (1993-2026)

Loved by so many, especially the WinStar team including Elliott Walden and Larry McGinnis, Distorted Humor at age 33 has died. “It’s a deeply sad day for all of us at WinStar Farm to lose a generational sire like Distorted Humor,” said Walden, who also trained Distorted Humor. “We take solace in the legacy he leaves behind.”

I love that Winstar's boys - even horses like Distorted Humor who stands for $100,000 - still get out and about and get to be more than just baby-making machines :)

I can still remember when he was a new sire and Funny Cide was headed to the Derby - everyone was questioning a colt by Distorted Humor ever getting a classic distance.
