While collecting eggs from the Cucco coop, Link noticed one of his old bow and quivers hanging up on the wall. It had been sitting there just gaining dust over the years. It blended in perfectly with the wall since there were no special markings on them.
Link placed all of the eggs he had collected down on the ground and carefully picked his bow up like it was going to fall apart when he touched it. Luckily, it did not. The man was curious whether or not he was actually still good with his bow and walked outside. Link stretched his arms for a moment before taking one of the arrows out of the quiver and practicing his shooting stance. It was obvious that it was a bit off.
Still, he aimed down at a bundle of straw off in the distance, perhaps about 100 feet away if that. Link nocked the bow and aimed at the bail of hay for only seconds before releasing. The arrow sailed through the air and struck the bail smack dab in the middle.
"It's almost like I'm too good with a bow still."
