Mitsuru watches you as you ramble on and on about your outlandish ideas for the future. All of this because of some book you found while outside? You truly were an odd one.

"And what makes you think that you won't be piloting the franxx with me for the rest of your life? After all, you've only met a few adults in your lifetime. What if it isn't like you thought it would be?" He asked, curious to what was going through your head.

Pouting, you cross your arms over your chest and throw your serious companion your best 'are you serious??' Look. "Well, I guess I'll have to find out for myself. And if I'm really stuck with you for the rest of my life then I guess I'll have to marry 𝘺𝘰𝘶, won't I?"

Watching in amusement as Mitsuru, the usually calm and stoic boy, grow beet red at your comment, you allow yourself a moment of laughter. "As if I'd marry you, (Y/N). I think I'd be better off with a klaxosaur."
